The best thing is to even-out your skin tone. If you don't like to wear foundation I would apply a tinted moisturizer, like Dermalogica's or easier to find in Europe Avene. I know that Avene has a green moisturizer that counteracts redness, however I've never tried it. As for a blush I would try a bronzer that has no red in it. Sounds like you might have rosacea, a dermatalogist would be able to better assist. As you talk about blushes... I really need an advice on the best shade for me.
I've a very sensitive skin (redness) so when it comes to buy a blush it's always a big question "which one doesn't make my checks more red?"
At the moment I've a Chanel (peachy colour) and a MAC (peach/salmon colour). Love both of them, but I want to try another colour. And to be honest I don't like to go to places like Selfridges to buy make up. It's too crowded, the lights make me more red and the girls sometimes don't understand what we want because they want you to buy what they want :(
I love pinky shades. Pink suits me, but I need to make sure my checks don't get to pinky.
Could you advise me on that?

I have Dixie and LOVE it. I have just posted about Fable lipstick. I am a HUGE fan of the perfect red lipstick called Box, which was named after the brand's creator Alex Box. I am hoping Sephora is able to open up shipping to Canada for this brand because it is pretty amazing!
